Why I Do This Work

Why I Do This Work

My Approach to Healing

I believe many people carry fear, shame, and past hurts that prevent them from fully engaging with life.

These struggles—whether from clear traumas like loss or abuse, or from years of feeling unseen and disconnected—shape how we relate to ourselves and others.

My own healing journey through therapy and personal growth led me to MDMA. Discovering its therapeutic potential opened a level of self-compassion and honesty that had previously felt out of reach. Those experiences, and the integration that followed, changed the direction of my life.

Today, I hold supportive space for people who feel stuck and want to move beyond fear toward greater freedom and authenticity. I believe healing happens when we safely meet the parts of ourselves we’ve learned to avoid and allow them to be understood, accepted, and integrated.

To support this work, I draw on my background in social work, specialized facilitator training, and my own psychedelic experiences. Together, these have helped me develop the skills and grounded presence needed to support others through meaningful experiences.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is MDMA?

MDMA, commonly known as "Ecstasy" or "Molly," is a psychoactive substance that can increase feelings of emotional openness, connection, and self-compassion. In therapeutic settings, it has been studied for its ability to reduce fear and support emotional healing.

How does MDMA affect the brain and body?

MDMA increases the release of serotonin, dopamine, and oxytocin while reducing activity in the brain's fear centers. These effects can increase empathy toward oneself and others, making it easier to explore difficult emotions, memories, and experiences that may otherwise feel overwhelming.

Do you provide MDMA?

Questions about safe sourcing can be discussed during an initial consultation. This service is intended for individuals seeking healing and personal growth, not for those simply looking to obtain MDMA. Individuals are responsible for their own decisions regarding the use of any substance.

What does a psychedelic guide do?

A psychedelic guide provides preparation, support during the experience, and integration afterward. My role is to help create a safe, supportive environment while encouraging self-exploration, insight, and personal growth.

How is this different from therapy?

Therapy focuses on ongoing conversation and change over time. Guided MDMA work involves an altered-state experience that can help people access emotions, perspectives, and insights that may feel difficult to reach in ordinary awareness.

Are you a therapist or medical professional?

No. I am not a therapist or medical provider, and this service is not a substitute for mental health treatment or medical care.

What happens during a journey session?

Journey sessions typically last five to six hours and take place in the comfort of your home. While I may ask questions and offer guidance throughout the experience, the direction of the session is informed by what naturally emerges rather than a predetermined agenda.

What is preparation and why is it important?

Preparation helps clarify intentions, address concerns, and build trust before the experience. It lays the foundation for a safe and meaningful journey.

What is integration and why does it matter?

Integration is the process of making sense of the experience and applying what you've learned to daily life. Lasting change often comes from what happens after the journey.

Do I need previous experience with MDMA?

No. Many people begin this work with little or no prior experience with MDMA or other psychedelics.

Are sessions virtual or in-person?

Preparation and integration sessions are conducted over Zoom and typically last up to 60 minutes. The journey session takes place in person.

How much does this cost?

The total cost is $650 and includes the preparation session, journey session, and integration session. This introductory rate may increase in the future as I gain experience and client feedback.

What if I'm nervous about the experience?

Feeling nervous is completely normal. Preparation sessions provide space to discuss concerns and help you feel informed and supported.

Is this confidential?

Yes. Information shared during our work together is treated with respect, privacy, and discretion.

How do I know if this is right for me?

If you feel called to explore yourself more deeply and are seeking meaningful change, an initial conversation can help determine whether this approach is a good fit.
